ACKNOWLEDGEMENT OF RISKS

I, the undersigned, hereby acknowledge and agree that:

  1. Axe throwing is a potentially dangerous activity involving sharp objects and requires physical exertion.
     
  2. Risks include, but are not limited to: accidental injury, misuse of equipment, slipping, falling, collision with other participants or equipment, and emotional distress.
     
  3. I am voluntarily participating and assume all known and unknown risks associated with axe throwing activities, whether caused by myself, others, facility conditions, or equipment.
     

 


WAIVER AND RELEASE OF LIABILITY

In consideration for being permitted to participate at Timber & Clay, I agree to:

  1. Release, waive, and discharge Timber & Clay, its owners, operators, employees, agents, landlords, affiliates, and contractors from any and all claims, demands, or liabilities related to injury, death, property damage, or losses arising from participation.
     
  2. Indemnify and hold harmless the above-mentioned from any claims, including legal fees, brought as a result of my actions, negligence, or participation.
     

 


RULES AND SAFETY

I agree to follow all posted and verbal safety instructions, including but not limited to:

  • Only throwing axes in designated lanes
     
  • Never crossing the throwing line without permission
     
  • Wearing closed-toe shoes
     
  • Not being under the influence of drugs or alcohol beyond legal limits
     

I acknowledge that refusal to follow rules may result in removal from the premises without refund.

 


MEDICAL AND FITNESS TO PARTICIPATE

I confirm that:

  • I am in good health and physically able to participate.
     
  • I have no medical conditions or impairments that may affect my ability to safely throw axes.
     
  • I will inform staff of any relevant medical concerns prior to participating.

 


LEGAL AGE & PARENT/GUARDIAN CONSENT (If Under 19)

Participants must be 10 years of age or older to throw axes. Those under 19 must have parental or legal guardian consent.  An adult must remain on site at all times. Minimum Age of 10
